Epilepsy Foundation Alaska will be holding our event at Cuddy Family Park in Midtown.

What is the event schedule?

Registration and Check in: 9am-10am
Opening Ceremony: 10am
Walk begins: 10:15am
Closing Ceremony: 11am

 

Can I register the day of the event?
Yes, you can register the day of the event. Please arrive between 9:00-10:00am to register day of the event. Registration price will be $40, and we will accept cash or check only. 

What is included in the registration fee?
Along with entry to the event, you will receive a drawstring backpack. 

Can I take the bus to Cuddy Park?
Bus lines come through the Midtown area. For more information, please use this link:

Where should I park?
Free parking is available around the area of the library and nearby side streets. We encourage the use of car-pooling, ride-hire companies and of course, public transportation!

Will there be food?
There will be water and light refreshments. 

Accessibility -
The walking path around Cuddy Park is paved and in excellent shape for wheelchairs, walkers and other forms of mobility assistance. Accessible restrooms are available at the site. Handicapped parking is available in the parking lot next to the library.

Will the walk take place if it is raining?
Yes, we will walk rain or shine. 

Are dogs welcome?
Yes, dogs on a leash are welcome to join us.

Can we use rollerblades or ride a bike?
As long as you stay on the side of the path designated for "wheels" and are mindful of others, you can bring a bike or rollerblades, and of course a helmet! 

Will there be restrooms?
Yes, Cuddy Park has restroom facilities onsite.
