As we continue to lead in the fight to end epilepsy we continue to offer support, advocacy and empowerment to those affected by epilepsy. It is through our mission to empower individuals that we have joined forces with DJ Hapa, The DJ Coach. Hapa has been a voice of support for the Epilepsy Foundation, telling his own story of experiencing epilepsy and empowering others by teaching music enthusiasts to DJ and play the music they want to hear. As Hapa has DJ’d our annual walk for several years, and in honor of Epilepsy Day, we wanted to do something special together, something that could possibly change your life! Maybe you’ve thought about DJing in the past, but didn’t know where to go or how to start.

Here’s your opportunity to learn how to DJ! As a professional DJ who’s performed around the globe and taught for over 15 years, Hapa’s developed the online Start To DJ 7-Day Challenge. This 7-Day Challenge teaches you to be able to complete a 15-20 minute DJ set after following his video instruction for just 30 minutes a day for 7 days. All you need is an iphone or ipad! Three lucky music enthusiasts will be awarded the opportunity to not only go through the 7-Day Challenge, but to have Hapa coach you along the way. For 30 minutes each day throughout the challenge, he’ll guide you, answering your specific questions and offering tips he’s learned from the trade. (A value of $1,150).
