Athletes vs. Epilepsy in partnership with the Epilepsy Foundation of Arizona is excited to announce our partnership with El Tour de Tucson presented by Casino Del Sol!  Arizona’s largest and longest running bicycling event, El Tour de Tucson is in its 35th year and hosts over 9,000 cyclists of all ages and abilities.

Choose Your Distance!  The planned routes offer the beautiful vistas of Arizona, from mountain ranges with the backdrop of the majestic Saguaro cactus, scenic Santa Cruz River routes or flat areas that are perfect for families. Cyclists can pedal the main event distances of 106, 76, 54, 37 or 28 miles, choose the Fun Ride of 11 or 5 miles, .25 mile activity course, or the Indoor El Tour (Nov 12-18) stationary cycle ride (please see www.perimeterbicycling.com/indoor/ for rules).

Once you are finished with your event, celebrate with other cyclist, families, and friends at the El Tour Downtown Fiesta!  Activities will include music, food, and cheering on other cyclists as they cross the finish line.

The initiative helps to bring epilepsy awareness to all sports through participation by athletes of all ages and skill levels as well as their supportive friends, family, and fans.

The Epilepsy Foundation is dedicated to ensuring that people with epilepsy can experience all that life has to offer. Athletes vs. Epilepsy affirms this positive message and embodies it through action and the belief that anyone, regardless of athletic talent, can help to fundraise and raise awareness.
