Congratulations and Thank You to our El Tour de Tucson Athletes vs Epilepsy cycling team for raising much needed awareness and funds for the Epilepsy Foundation!
El Tour de Tucson, Arizona’s largest and longest running bicycling event, is in its 36th year and hosted over 9,000 cyclists of all ages and abilities.
Cyclists were able to choose their own distance! The planned routes offered the beautiful vistas of Arizona, from mountain ranges with the backdrop of the majestic saguaro cactus, scenic Santa Cruz River routes or flat areas that are perfect for families. Cyclists pedaled the main event distances of 106, 75, 50, or 25 miles, the Fun Ride of 10 or 5 miles, .25 mile activity course, or the Indoor El Tour stationary cycle ride.
Once finished, the team celebrated with other cyclist, families, and friends at the El Tour Downtown Fiesta! Activities included music, food, and cheering on other cyclists as they crossed the finish line.
