Register today for the Athletes vs Epilepsy Step Challenge presented by NeuroPace.

The 26-day challenge begins July 23rd!

Did you know that you do not need to run marathons or triathlons to see improvements in your health?  You may get a lot of fitness and emotional gains from a small amount of low impact, daily walking!

*Regular brisk walking can help you:

  • Maintain a healthy weight
  • Prevent or manage various conditions, including heart disease, high blood pressure and type 2 diabetes
  • Strengthen your bones and muscles
  • Improve your mood
  • Improve your balance and coordination

Join today by clicking the registration button above and:

  • **Set your step goal to walk at least 10,000 steps a day for 26 days.  (**If you can’t reach 10,000 steps, try to walk for at least 30 minutes a day.)
  • Set your fundraising goal for $100 or more. (Your $25 registration fee will be applied as your first donation toward your fundraising goal!)

When you join you will receive:

  • A customizable fundraising page to share with others that describes why you are participating and ask for their support with a donation;
  • Fundraising tips to help you with your efforts;
  • A link and instructions to download the Step Challenge app that can track and post your step numbers, so that you can compare to others to help motivate you.

Register today and join other Athletes vs Epilepsy and NeuroPace RNS ambassadors raising funds to help stop seizures and find cures for epilepsy.  Your efforts will raise awareness for the more than 3.4 million people in the U.S. living with the challenges of epilepsy.

We wish you much success on your fitness journey!

*While the Athletes vs Epilepsy Step Challenge presented by NeuroPace is a unique opportunity for you to improve your wellbeing, it is important that you do so under the guidance of your medical team. If you are unable to participate in the step challenge, we hope that you can support someone who can, do an alternate exercise to walking, or register for another Athletes vs Epilepsy campaign.

*The Step Challenge is solely owned by Epilepsy Foundation's Athletes vs. Epilepsy. The Epilepsy Foundation does not endorse specific products or services and encourages people living with epilepsy to work with their healthcare team in exploring treatment options.

About Athletes vs Epilepsy

Athletes vs. Epilepsy is a nationwide program for athletes of all ages and levels, coaches, volunteers and fans.  The goal is to raise awareness, build participation, and help fund the Epilepsy Foundation’s mission to stop seizures and SUDEP, find a cure, and overcome the challenges created by epilepsy through efforts including education, advocacy, and research to accelerate ideas into therapies. The initiative helps to bring epilepsy awareness to all sports through participation by athletes of all ages and skill levels as well as their supportive friends, family, and fans.

The Epilepsy Foundation is dedicated to ensuring that people with epilepsy can experience all that life has to offer. Athletes vs. Epilepsy affirms this positive message and embodies it through action and the belief that anyone, regardless of athletic talent, can help to fundraise and raise awareness.

You can make a difference in your life and in the lives of others. Donate to the cause through our team fundraising page or join the Athletes vs. Epilepsy initiative.  Visit AthletesVsEpilepsy.com for more information and opportunities to get involved.
