 COVID-19 WALK postponement uPDATE

As many of us are hearing reports of states, counties and cities throughout the United States beginning to reopen in different phases, we want to make sure you know how this effects your local Epilepsy Foundation and the Los Angeles Walk to END EPILEPSY®. We are continuing to operate based on the most recent guidance issued by our public health experts and government official surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic and safety of our community.
Our highest priority has been and continues to be the health and well-being of our community. As you know, we have not been able to host in-person activities and events since early March, when the stay-at-home orders went into effect. At this exact time we do not yet know when these restrictions will be lifted to allow us to resume our in-person activities. We are hoping that our biggest community fundraising event, the Walk to END EPILEPSY® will reunite all of us in November.

We are forever grateful with your patience during this time and your continued support. It is because of the determination and dedication of our Epilepsy Warriors that we know that our postponed Walk this year will be the most amazing one yet. We will be announcing our new November walk date very soon.

While we continue to monitor the current situation and adapt our programs and events to a virtual platform, so that we may continue to serve the community and provide them with the connections and vitals services they need, we will also continue to update our Walk page to keep you informed.

We encourage you to continue engaging and recruiting for your Walk Teams! And to continue your fundraising efforts! We are still aiming to reach $600,000 by our new November Walk date (date announcement coming soon) so that we can continue to fund medical research, provide education, advocate, and expand our local programming. We need your support more now than ever!! We are still in this Fight to END EPILEPSY and we have no plans to slow down!! We can't wait to walk with you!

We STILL Need YOU in this Fight to END EPILEPSY!
