Our hearts continue to ache less than two years after the loss of our beloved son Charlie to SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy) at age 16. Last summer, with the incredible support of our team of riders who joined us for a few days or for all eight weeks, we completed a cycling trip across the US and Canada. Thanks to the generosity of our community, family and friends far and wide, our team raised more than $40,000 for the Epilepsy Foundation in 2017.
We are on our bikes again this year for local excursions here in New England, and with your help we hope to continue to raise funds for the SUDEP Institute of the Epilepsy Foundation. We carry thoughts of our boy with us on every ride. Hopefully a greater understanding of the causes and prevention of SUDEP will be his legacy, and that in the future, people living with epilepsy and their families will not suffer this terrible trauma.
Please support this cause by making a safe and secure donation to our fundraising webpage. Giving to the Epilepsy Foundation means you make the world a safer, easier, more manageable place for the 3 million people in the U.S. who are living with epilepsy and seizures.
