I am walking to raise awareness of SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death from Epilepsy). SUDEP robbed our amazing Quinn of having a long beautiful life. We didn’t even know what SUDEP was, not one of the five pediatric neurologist we saw ever mentioned it. SUDEP took more lives last year than SIDS. Quinn was full of life and was the kindest person I have ever met. As her teachers said, “every child in the class always knew they had a friend in Quinn”. I am unbelievably proud to be known as “Quinn’s mom”. She was my travel buddy and couldn’t wait to travel to our next destination. We miss her so much every second of every day. Not only were we robbed, everyone who ever met her was. Please help us raise awareness so another family doesn’t have to endure this devastating pain.
I am raising funds to make a difference in the lives of people living with epilepsy. The mission of the Epilepsy Foundation is to lead the fight to overcome the challenges of living with epilepsy and to accelerate therapies to stop seizures, find cures, and save lives.
Please support this cause by making a safe and secure donation to my fundraising webpage. Giving to the Epilepsy Foundation means you make the world a better, easier, more manageable place for the 3.5 million people in the U.S. who are living with epilepsy and seizures.
