Thank you for your interest in supporting the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Los Angeles. I am honored to be a Board member of this Foundation that makes such a direct positive impact on helping fight this disease in Los Angeles. Watching my children have seizures, helping find the right medication, and figuring out how to eliminate the triggers for a seizure, has consumed much of my time over the past 10 years. Supporting the foundation has given me the opportunity to help others who are also struggling with these challenges. Epilepsy is the most common serious brain disorder worldwide, and 1 in 10 people will have a seizure in their lifetime. Seizures steal moments and memories, can change lives, impact development, affect learning and can even result in death. The Epilepsy Foundation is committed to finding a cure, care, advocacy and education
For the reasons above and many more, I am participating in the Walk to End Epilepsy on Saturday, February 2nd, 2019 at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena to join in the fight to END EPILEPSY. If you would like to participate in the walk, go to the Nelson Family Team and find "Join Our Team" button to register for the walk. If you would like only to donate, go to the "Donate Here" button. If you are not able to do either, prayers and positive thoughts are also very welcome and helpful!!
