Most people know i deal with epilepsy and have had many struggles with seizures, clusters, going into status epilepticus, and have to carry rescue meds.  I love biking outside, and as soon as i can, i will be cycling to raise funds to make a difference in the lives of people like me, living with epilepsy.

At the beginning of this fundraiser a bout of sepsis and double pneumonia left me struggling with memory, balance, and stamina.  Everything is slowly coming back, but due to having to walk with crutches for the balance and stamina problems, just biking outside has been a major first goal.  I did achieve that goal and my first ride was .6 miles! I recently had another bought of sepsis, but it didn’t knock me down!  my newest goal is to bike 150 miles for athletes vs epilepsy to give back to the epilepsy foundation.

The mission of the Epilepsy Foundation is to lead the fight to overcome the challenges of living with epilepsy and to accelerate therapies to stop seizures, find cures, and save lives.

Please support this cause by making a safe and secure donation to my fundraising webpage. Giving to the Epilepsy Foundation means you make the world a better, easier, more manageable place for the  3 million people in the U.S. who are living with epilepsy and seizures.
