My sweet, amazing daughter Erin died April 17, 2019 after a seizure and just one month after her diagnosis of Epilepsy. We were not warned about the dangers of SUDEP (sudden unexpected death due to Epilepsy), and so, I am walking in Erin's memory to raise awareness of this terrible disease and the risk of SUDEP. I truly believe this is what Erin would want me to do, she was all about helping others! Those who are close to me know that I am also working directly with the Epilepsy Foundation Nebraska chapter to keep Erin's memory alive with her Embrace fund to help others monitor their seizure activity and alert loved ones if they are having a seizure. I do this in hopes that no other Nebraska family has to go through the heartbreak of losing a child to SUDEP.

I am raising funds in hopes I can make a difference in the lives of people living with epilepsy. The mission of the Epilepsy Foundation is to lead the fight to overcome the challenges of living with epilepsy and to accelerate therapies to stop seizures, find cures, and save lives.

Please support this cause by making a safe and secure donation to my fundraising webpage. Giving to the Epilepsy Foundation means you make the world a better, easier, more manageable place for the  3 million people in the U.S. who are living with epilepsy and seizures.

Thank you for your help and support,

Love, Allison & Erin
