24-hour epilepsy foundation fundraiser

Hi Friends,

As many of you know, my life has been deeply touched by epilepsy. My mom has epilepsy and has suffered from seizures most of her life. For the past 20 years, she has experienced seizure activity every single week. Various medications, a VNS implant, and brain surgery have not kept them at bay.

I do my best to support her. And in honor of my mom, and to support ALL people who have epilepsy, this fall I will run a 24-hour ultramarathon to raise as much money as possible for the Epilepsy Foundation. (Race details: http://www.tideland24.com/)
