I am raising funds to make a difference in the lives of people living with epilepsy. The mission of the Epilepsy Foundation is to lead the fight to overcome the challenges of living with epilepsy and to accelerate therapies to stop seizures, find cures, and save lives.
Why did I name my team RyTy 126? My personal family friends Ryan Gronowski and Tyler Mack live with epilepsy. In fact, 1 in 26 people will develop epilepsy at some point in their life. These numbers are staggering. More people live with epilepsy than multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, cerebral palsy and autism spectrum disorders - COMBINED. All of my rides this year will be dedicated to Ryan and Tyler in an effort to raise awareness and funds for the Epilepsy Foundation. My rides will culminate with a 126-mile ride on August 5, 2017.
Please support this cause by making a safe and secure donation to my fundraising webpage. Giving to the Epilepsy Foundation means you make the world a better, easier, more manageable place for the 3 million people in the U.S. who are living with epilepsy and seizures.
