Gear Up For Epilepsy and Support the C2C4Charlie Team!!
Kathy and I are fortunate to have a lot of friends who have raised great kids. Charlie, son of Arleen and Clif Read, was one of the best. Unfortunately, he passed away at the tender age of 16 from complications due to Epilepsy.
Clif and Arleen will join six others bike riders as they pedal across the country to raise funds to help find a cure for Epilepsy. They will be leaving from Anacortes, Washington – a small town on the Puget Sound – on Monday, June 19. Kathy and I will be there for the send-off.
Will join us as “virtual riders” in support of their journey? Following a route across the northern United States, they hope to arrive in Boston by the end of August – a trip of over 3,700 miles. Kathy and I will also be there – along with many others – to welcome them home.
Clif and his team have a goal of raising $10,000 for the Epilepsy Foundation. Would you be willing to sponsor them at a penny a mile? This is just $37.50 for an unbelievable cause.
Or if you really want to give your two cents worth, please consider making a donation of $75. Of course, any amount is welcome and all donations are tax deductible.
This cause means a great deal to us and we urge you to join us in supporting the C2C4Charlie Team!! Thank you for your generous donation.
