Athletes vs. Epilepsy is a nationwide program for athletes, coaches, volunteers and fans to raise awareness and funds to help fund the Epilepsy Foundation’s mission to lead the fight to overcome the challenges of living with epilepsy and to accelerate therapies to stop seizures, find cures, and save lives. The initiative will bring awareness in all sports through participation by athletes of all ages and skill levels as well as their supportive friends, family and fans.
The inspiration for this event is six-year-old Reagan, who has been living with Epilepsy since prior to her second birthday. Reagan is a fun, kind and thoughtful kid, she has never let Epilepsy hold her back from doing the things she loves. While some physical activities can be a challenge for Reagan, due to another medical condition she enjoys practicing yoga with her Mom and has even spread her love of downward dog to her friends.
We are raising funds to make a difference in Reagan's life and everyone living with epilepsy. The mission of the Epilepsy Foundation is to lead the fight to overcome the challenges of living with epilepsy and to accelerate therapies to stop seizures, find cures, and save lives.
Please support this cause by making a safe and secure donation to our fundraising webpage. Giving to the Epilepsy Foundation means you make the world a better, easier, more manageable place for the 3 million people in the U.S. who are living with epilepsy and seizures.
