We are raising funds to make a difference in the lives of people living with epilepsy. The mission of the Epilepsy Foundation is to lead the fight to overcome the challenges of living with epilepsy and to accelerate therapies to stop seizures, find cures, and save lives.
I have set up my Family’s Walk to End Epilepsy page. If you would like to join our team for this 5K, we would love to have you. This is the 13th year we have participated in the walk.
Our son, Zachary was diagnosed with a seizure disorder, Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome almost 20 years ago. Zack takes 20+ pills a day and has an implant to help controls hundreds of seizures a day. He is almost 26 years old but is developmentally a 5 year old due to this disease.
Our great niece, Layla had her first seizure on New Years Day 2018. She just turned 10 this year. Layla and her family are still learning to live with Epilepsy and still on the quest for the right meds to help control her seizures and are hoping that she will eventually outgrow her seizures.
Please support this cause by making a safe and secure donation to our fundraising webpage. Giving to the Epilepsy Foundation means you make the world a better, easier, more manageable place for the 3.5 million people in the U.S. who are living with epilepsy and seizures.
Thank you for your help and support
